Wellingborough District Hindu Association and in partnership with Armed Forces Hindu Network, invited the WW1 Exhibition Bus in remembrance to sacrifice of Indian troops during WW1 to Armed Forces Raksha Bandhan Celebration event , on Wednesday 22nd August 2018.

"Raksha Bandhan, colloquially known as Rakhi, is an age-old Hindu festival that celebrates brotherhood and love. For the Hindus serving in the Armed Forces, the festival holds special significance as it symbolises the duty of the Armed Forces in protecting their society."

Should Britain not have a permanent memorial for the Indian troop who helped them during WW1?
