Wellingborough District Hindu Association - WDHA

WDHA was established to focus on community development for which they aim to provide community spaces, organise social functions, provide information on key services, facilitate education classes and offer welfare services.

Wellingborough District Hindu Association and in partnership with Armed Forces Hindu Network, invited the WW1 Exhibition Bus in remembrance to sacrifice of Indian troops during WW1 to Armed Forces Raksha Bandhan Celebration event , on Wednesday 22nd August 2018.

"Raksha Bandhan, colloquially known as Rakhi, is an age-old Hindu festival that celebrates brotherhood and love. For the Hindus serving in the Armed Forces, the festival holds special significance as it symbolises the duty of the Armed Forces in protecting their society."
